Momma Made It Gourmet Pet Food is a company that produces ethical human grade pet food for both dogs and cats. Their range includes meals, treats and meal plans out of which I chose Not Just Chicken Dinner. Let's delve into its features to see if the product is really safe and actually worth your investment
Not Just Chicken Dinner is a maintenance meal which contains ground turkey, chicken breasts, chicken hearts, chicken liver, sweet potatoes, celery, carrots and dried cranberries. They have also noted on their website that their use of fruits and vegetables are subjective based on season, freshness and quality
Not Just Chicken Dinner meal is served either as raw or cooked depending on which option is selected when placing the order through their website. The meal comes in 3 main portion sizes as 10 lb bags, 5 lb bags and 12 oz snacker bags. What I see here is that Momma Made It Gourmet Pet Food has given much thought into user convenience and flexibility
Product packaging is very basic but nothing to complain about as it makes the product more cost effective and sufficiently maintains freshness and quality of the food
What I love about the product:
1. Contains high quality proteins
2. Makes a lot of effort into production
3. Use high quality food ingredients
4. A portion of revenue is sent for charity
5. Genuinely nutritious
6. Availability of options when placing an order
7. No added preservatives, fillers or any artificial additive
8. 100% natural
Areas for improvement:
1. Improve to complete and balanced food
2. Wouldn't recommend raw feeding especially meat for their zoonotic concerns, despite the nutrient levels, if not sourced from highly reliable sources. It's always good to serve them cooked (Why raw feeding is not recommended)
