Premium Rabbit and Quail Cat Food by Barf India

This time, I chose cats 💜 and India 🇮🇳

Barf India produces pet food and pet treats for both dogs and cats. Out of their range of maintenance meals I chose Premium Grain-Free Gently Cooked Rabbit and Quail Cat Food. Let's delve into its features to see if the product is really safe and actually worth your investment

Rabbit and Quail Cat Food by Barf India is a complete and balanced diet which suggests that this meal contains all the essential nutrients that a cat needs every day 

Ingredient list:
Rabbit, quail, pork liver, ground quail bones, mussels, omega 3 fish oil (Sardines, mackerel, anchovy), eggs, green beans, carrots, organic sprouted dried sunflower seeds, organic dried kelp

This is a multi protein diet - contains  multiple sources of animal based proteins.  What interests me is the organically sourced plant based ingredients 


The food does not include synthetic vitamins and mineral powders which lets the ingredients themselves to supply the required nutrients to cats. Good job! Also, this meal is gently cooked to preserve the nutrients in each bite

I have independently analyzed the nutrients and I realize that Rabbit and Quail Cat Food has been given much thought when crafting the product's nutritional quality 

Much thought has also been given to the shipment policy to maintain freshness of the product. Kudos! 

What I love about the product:
1. Pet nutrition is on point. Love it! 
2. Complies with label claims and the mentioned health benefits
4. Includes high quality ingredients
5. The absence of synthetic vitamins and mineral powders
6. The shipment policy to maintain freshness
7. Zero preservatives included

Areas for improvement:
1. Need to accurately define the life stage for which this product is suitable - ideally from my analysis, it would suit healthy adult cats

What I don't like about the product:
1. The product fits all ages according to label but how are the different nutrient requirements of different life stages met by just determining the portion by body weight? Does this really make the product complete and balanced for all life stages of cats? 

2. The phrase "completely free from starch" in the product description on the website may mislead the readers. Note that the absence of starch does not necessarily mean an absence of carbohydrates in the diet but the presence of sugar the only carb
