Moochie Digestive Care Pet Food: Review

Moochie Pet Food is a company that produces ethical human grade completely balanced pet food for both dogs and cats. Out of their range of wet food I chose Moochie Digestive Care. Let's delve into its features to see if the product is really safe and actually worth your investment

Moochie Digestive Care is an Anchovy containing adult maintenance wet food pate which includes tuna, chicken, sardines, beef liver, anchovy, gelling agents, amino acids (Including Taurine) , thickening agents, sunflower oil, vitamins, minerals, coloring agents, fish extracts, salmon crude oil, coconut oil and prebiotics as its ingredients

I have independently analyzed the nutrients and I realize that Moochie Pet Care has given much thought when crafting this product's nutrient levels and portion sizing. They are on point. All of the hard work is appreciated

Product packaging is fancy but nothing to complain about as it makes the product more easy to use and sufficiently maintains freshness and quality of the food

What I love about the product:

1. Contains high quality proteins

2. Perfect nutrition. Complete and Balanced

3. Complies with label claims to some extent

4. Contains taurine

5. Grain free - suitable for digestive health

Areas for improvement:

1. Increase more whole food ingredients than synthetic supplements and excipients

What I don't like about the product:

According to the product label the product contains gelling agents, coloring agents and other excipients that have an added effect of preserving the food although it says "no preservatives". This on the other hand raises questions on product viability and manufacturing cost, to which there are more safe alternatives

On the contrary, the website says "no artificial color/flavor/preservative" used in the product. Moochie Pet Food brand manager, this is for your concern

In my opinion Moochie Digestive Care would be most appropriate as a therapeutic meal in cases of primary IBD in cats for prevention and as a supportive therapy for secondary IBD

I would recommend Moochie Digestive Care Pet Food as an occasional maintenance meal for healthy cats and an occasional therapeutic meal for IBD cats
